Lamongan - Indonesia's largest lightweight brick manufacturer, PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk, uses hundreds of Mitsubishi Fuso trucks for its national logistics fleet. So, what is the reason behind their choice of vehicle?
Currently, PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk has a total of 600 vehicles to support domestic product distribution. However, 180 of them are Mitsubishi Fuso trucks.
“We currently operate 170 Canter units and 10 Fighter units for company logistics,” said Indra Wijaya, Operations Manager of the Trucking Division at PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk, when met in Lamongan, East Java, on Wednesday (10/12).
Indra Wijaya then explained the reasons why his company chose Fuso trucks for national logistics. According to him, these vehicles are supported by a very strong and widespread network within the country.
“Of course, it's because of the good quality of the vehicles and the support of a network of dealers and repair shops spread throughout Indonesia. Especially in our distribution areas in East Java and Central Java,” he said.
In addition, Indra said, the selection of trucks was based on carrying capacity, durability, and after-sales service. Indra also praised Mitsubishi Fuso's after-sales service in Indonesia.
“We greatly appreciate the innovative Murni Berlian Motor team for offering after-sales programs that differ from other dealers (in Indonesia),” he said.
For the record, PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk currently has five factories spread across East Java and Central Java. They are the largest lightweight brick manufacturer in Indonesia with a production capacity of up to 5.6 million cubic meters per year.b
