PT Superior Prima Sukses, through its lightweight brick product, Bata Ringan Blesscon (BLES), carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in Malang Regency on Tuesday (August 20).
As a form of social concern, during this event, Bata Ringan Blesscon, in collaboration with the Malang Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), renovated the MI AL Hidayah school building located in Kasembon Bululawang Village, Malang Regency. The lightweight brick assistance was directly handed over by Bata Ringan Blesscon's Brand Manager, Yusuf Permadi, to a school representative, amounting to 23.04 m³.
After receiving the donation, the Principal of MI AL Hidayah Kasembon, Afif Susiono, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by Bata Ringan Blesscon and the concern shown by the local government through BPBD Malang Regency.
"We are very grateful for this assistance in the school’s renovation. This means a lot to us. We always welcome institutions and the community to participate in improving national education," he said.
Afif added that the newly constructed room, supported by Bata Ringan Blesscon, will be used as a space for the Indonesian Madrasah Competency Assessment (AKMI). Previously, competency tests were conducted in the teachers’ office.
"Thank you, Blesscon. Hopefully, this synergy will continue. Good facilities will support learning and help create an intelligent young generation to contribute to Indonesia Emas 2045," he added.
Besides school renovation, the CSR program by Blesscon in South Malang Regency also provided 11.52 m³ of lightweight bricks to the victims of a fire in Sumbertangkil Hamlet, RT 001 RW 001, Tirtoyudo District, Malang Regency.
This aid was given to Yateno (89), a farmer who lost his home in a fire last July. With the support of BPBD Malang Regency and the local community, the donation was immediately used to rebuild Yateno’s house, which had been nearly leveled by the flames.
"Alhamdulillah, thank you, Bata Ringan Blesscon. This is truly a blessing for me, and I hope it also brings blessings to Blesscon and the government," Yateno said.
Isa Ansori, a Functional Disaster Management Officer at BPBD Malang Regency, appreciated the synergy between Bata Ringan Blesscon, the local government, and the community. He hopes this collaboration will continue to grow, not only in disaster recovery efforts but also in other humanitarian activities.
"We hope this synergy continues. This program cannot run without cooperation between the government, businesses, and the community. We want to keep fostering this partnership and strengthening relationships to provide even better assistance to society," he emphasized.
On the same occasion, Bata Ringan Blesscon’s Brand Manager, Yusuf Permadi, stated that this initiative reflects the company’s strong solidarity and concern for community needs.
"This is our commitment to supporting social welfare and education. We hope this initiative brings a positive impact to the community and opens new opportunities for improving their quality of life," said Yusuf.
Furthermore, Yusuf expressed his hope that this assistance will contribute to strengthening the synergy between Bata Ringan Blesscon, the Malang Regency Government, and the community.
"In the future, may this collaboration inspire and bring blessings to all of us," he concluded.
